The matching invitations and RSVP cards for the Save the Dates I designed for an awesome client a few months ago have come in from the printer today! Yessss!
A quick sharpie sketch from last night. It’s a little something my friend Jon said a long time ago (circa 2008?) while wearing a storm trooper helmet, hahaha
Just wrapped up a lovely morning of pulling prints and listening to music. This Richard P. Feynman quote piece has been a favorite in my shop, and is now restocked! www.thesnarkypeacock.etsy.com
Now, on to fleshing out some Valentine card ideas I have been thinking about for the last few days. January flies.
These arrived from the printer today. I hope my client loves them!
The matching invitations and RSVP cards will be printed a little later…I am excited to see them all together.
Some design ideas I came up with for a very sweet client’s wedding invitations. She and her beau decided to go with the one shown large on the right.
Next up is designing the matching Save the Date and RSVP cards…I’m excited to see this all come together and get printed soon!
My ‘Note to Self’ multi-color hand pulled lino prints are now up for grabs in my Etsy shop!
Got the final, third (outline) block down on this set of ‘Note to Self’ lino prints today! After these dry they will be trimmed, then properly photographed to list in my Etsy shop.
I’m really happy with how my first multi-color layered lino prints came out!!!
It’s happening! Blocks one and two are down on this run. I’ll be printing the final outline block tomorrow and these bad boys will be finished!
Test prints for each of the three blocks I just finished carving for my first multi-color linocut print. The outline block came out waaaayyyy better than I thought it would!
I’m so excited to start pulling some finished layered prints this week. Fingers crossed.
Attempting my first multi-color linocut print. Blocks 1 & 2 are all carved out; finishing carving the outline block and will be pulling some prints tonight or tomorrow morning!
(It’s going to be this design )
A test print of the new lino block I carved today. Once I work out the kinks and get some nice even pulls, it will be available in my Etsy shop.
What would you fill in the blank with?
Just hand pulled my first linocut print. Not bad! I think this is the beginning of another passion.
I’ll be listing this ‘stachey goodness in my etsy shop when I open up next week! Excited.
Get ready for The Snarky Peacock on Etsy next friday, Sept 7th!
Color!!! This set is almost done…after the paint dries it’s assembly time.
I’ve been working on items to fill my Etsy shop. Much more on the way…..I will be opening next week, watch out!
**QUESTION: I’m giving the matching cut out mustaches away with each framed piece; should I attach a stick to each of them, or put a strip of adhesive on the back? What do you think?
MUSTACHE MADNESS!!! Now, time to paint the backgrounds for these and assemble them into frames.
